Being a mom is a challenge where one is faced with so many activities but is able to maintain a smile all through. That sounds like any mom’s itinerary: a combination of sequential juggling, scheduling, and improvisation. : Take a look at this video to see a brief overview of a typical day of a mom to familiarize with the disorganization and affection that parents experience in their daily routine.

5:30 AM – Early birds prefer to go to bed early and wake up early in the morning

It is a day that starts at dawn of the day before the sun comes up. This is the sound that wakes one of the moms and it is time for her to wake up and get a few minutes to herself before the house wakes up. This is often the only chance a mom gets to have a cup of coffee without being interrupted or to even grab a workout or just have some quiet time. Finally, it is a brief but significant period for taking care of oneself and creating the right approach to the day.

6:00 AM- The Morning Rush

And at last, as the rest of the family begins to stir, activity begins in earnest, as the morning rush begins. The breakfast has to be made, packed lunch must be ready and the kids must be washed and dressed. The chaos is real: One child may be so demanding of what he or she wants to eat for breakfast while another is refusing to get out of bed and the third is bouncing around happily. In the middle of all this, a mom has to maneuver to ensure that everybody gets what they want for the day.

7:30 AM is the School drop off and Work commute

All the people have their respective feeders and clothes now it time to drop the kids back to school. Depending on the availability of other family members this could be done one or the both the car, by walking or through the use of the school bus. This aimes follows the common tendency that parents remind children of homework before going to the school and what they might need in the school. As soon as the kids are at school the mom must change position and go to job, be it a regular job or a home one.

9:00 A.M.- Work and Chores

The workday starts and for most of the working mum this translates to attending meetings, going through emails and performing tasks. This can be quite a juggling act; people are employees and at the same time, they are parents and must attend to their family’s needs. While waiting for shows to resume, or even at night, many mothers can be found doing house chores either washing clothes, washing dishes or even planning for dinner. Multitasking can often be very tiring but is so important when running a home.

12:00 PM – Lunch and running of other errands

Lunch break may consist of eating only but it can as well entail a number of errands or personal chores. Remember these common routine activities such as shopping for groceries, taking appointments with doctors, picking up cleaned clothes, etc., in most of the cases it will be seen that mothers strive to manage all such things in lunch break only. This is because it becomes very difficult to have time for self and, at the same time, attend to work and other family obligations.

3:00 PM – School Pick up and After school activities

Daily work comes to a close as soon as school gets over and it is time for school pick up. It can also be a rather lively time when children come home from school and have practice, lessons or simply free time to play. Every child is on a different plan and this means that managing them means working on them while at the same time being willing to bend a little. A shift can be pretty quick from work mode to act as a driver and organizer of activities.

5:30 PM – Dinner followed by Family Time

As the day ends, one should think of what could be prepared for dinner. It is not always easy to cook delicious and satisfying food for all the family, but such a process can be a pleasure. Supper is usually a social affair during which families get together to exchange events of the day and the general happenings of their lives. Supper is then cleared to wash the dishes and sometimes arrange the kitchen and see that all is in order for the ensuing day.

7.00PM-Home works and evening activities.

Late in the evening it is time for studying, completing assignments and other evening rituals. Children tend to do homework, listening to stories before sleep, and planning for the following day among other daily activities. It is actually an excellent opportunity to talk to children, to comfort them, and just relax after a working day.

8:30 PM – Leisure and Personal Time

When the children are in bed, a mom is then free to do as she wishes and think I really need this. This may entail doing chores that were missed to clean up the house, reading a book or any other relaxing activity as the case maybe. He says it is a valuable opportunity for the restoration of strength and the consolidation of thought processes after work. This is actually individual time that shouldn’t be overlooked as this is where people rejuvenate.

Being prepared for the next day is one of the most important etiquettes that people need to master:

In most cases, a mom has some time towards evening to consider such possibilities to occur the following day. It could mean laying out clothes, arranging utensils for breakfast or even writing a ‘to-do’ list. Planning has a positive effect on the morning schedule and on the transition to the following day.

11:00 PM – Power Down and Renew

Lastly, it is time to relax once in a while and take a break from work. People need to be able to rest and get a good night’s sleep, especially after a day which they have spent either caring for someone else or juggling various things. For many moms, this time is also spent thinking about the day that is done, saying something like ‘I’m so grateful for fill in the blank’, and setting personal and family schedules for the next day.

The Balancing Act

On the given day, a mom gets engaged in various types of activities, which are divided into responsibilities, tasks, and her personal life. In doing so it demands a rather special combination of methodical approach, time on one’s hands, and an ability to slide with the flow. There is nevertheless a massively satisfying characteristic of the position that somehow takes the frantic and sometimes noisy hum of Waldenbooks – and makes it worthwhile. The saying ‘every day is a school day’ can be rather a burden and there is no other job that is as challenging and as rewarding as being a mother to prove this each day.

It can be noted that while people go through their daily schedule, it is the moments that are full of human attachment and happiness that give it a purpose. Whether it is a good chuckle over food, a family hug before retiring to bed or a cup of coffee before going to work, such are the things in practice which make the hectic timetable all the more reserved.

Simply, having children make mothers learn and grow in their endeavors as they care for their kids. It is a constant juggle but it is also a number of small, cannot be repeated moments, that constitute the existence of a family.
