Therefore, since I have been a wife and a mother of one, I understand how much of it is valued. There are ordinary days I have to wake up, dress my son, cook and frost numerous projects on my to-do list. During such a period, time for self-care, not to mention a beauty regimen, may seem to be something from the realm of fairytales. Still, as I have mentioned, it is essential to find those few minutes which would make me feel replenished and positive.

That’s why I’ve worked out such effective and relatively short beauty care program to follow in the context of a highly stressful life. It’s so doable, time-sensitive and provides results ideal for those with tight schedules or managing their households and selves. Here are 10 ways I’ve found that allow me to look and feel good despite having a hectic and rigid schedule.

1. Another article by the same author is “Streamline Your Skincare Routine,” which will help you spend 5 minutes to read.

To a great extent, it is possible to refer to the cliché saying, the less – the better, when speaking of skincare. In the past, I believed I must follow a 10 step skincare regime while now as a mother, I don’t have the time. Here’s how I keep it down to three essential steps in just five minutes:Here’s how I keep it down to three essential steps in just five minutes:

Cleanse: I use the first step cleaner which is suitable for both in the morning and at night. What you need must wash the dirt away without washing away all the skin. When I am on the run, I do this using micellar water and a cotton pad which cleanses the skin, removes make-up and hydrates at the same time.

Moisturize: The moisturizer that I employ is a universal day cream for face and neck containing sunscreen. Wearing sunscreen day is very important since I am usually outside with my baby son. Use products that can perform two functions, such as moisturizers with SPF, to avoid overcomplication.

Serum or Oil (Optional): If I get a little extra time, I’ll put on a serum, like hyaluronic acid to moisturize or an oil to give the skin a healthy shine. These steps are not mandatory, but by following them your skin will look much smoother without much extra work.

2 Undefined Go for Minimalist Makeup Time: 5- 10 minutes

More often than not, one cannot afford to spend 30 minutes doing makeup. However, I use a low upkeep beauty regimen that helps accentuate my features without much effort or application of makeup.

BB Cream or Tinted Moisturizer: I have replaced full coverage foundations with BB cream or tinted moisturiser. Such products help me equalize the skin tone, give a rather sheer finish, and many of them may additionally contain SPF or moisturizing ingredients. undefined I can apply it with my fingers in under a minute #gentleman

Concealer: I used to think that only moms have right, painful and dark circles!. I apply some concealer under my eyes as well as on any spots I may have. A creamy base is smooth to mix and application is not exacting.

Brows: Likewise, I can’t leave out my brows, not even when I’m pressed for time. One swift brush of tinted brow gel gives fullness and shape, eliminating the necessity of pencils or powders.

Mascara: Opening the eyes up is made possible by mascara. What I seek is a lengthening or volumizing mascara that doesn’t transfer or smudge during the day.

Lip Tint or Balm: Last but not least, I moisturize my lips with a tinted lip balm or lip tint. It gives lips a splash of color and at the same time moisturizes them. As for a lip tint, it is even better because it lasts longer and does not need to be renewed as often.

All of this makeup can be done in a mere 10 minutes or so and yet it gives my face that ‘glossed up to perfection’ look without going overboard.

3. Hair Hacks for Busy Mornings – This is a five minutes video.

This is where hair can actually be the hardest facet of a beauty regime when running low on time. There are several simple hair styles which I have discovered are simple for me to do without much effort.

Dry Shampoo: I use dry shampoos which is my secret weapon sine it helps me avoid washing my hair daily. If I do not have enough time to wash my hair I use a little of dry shampoo at the crown area in order to soak excess oil and create volume. It is highly useful when you are late in the morning, but, you still want to have polished look of a neat head of hair.

Messy Bun or Ponytail: For the casual style, I choose messy bun and low pony tail if I want something that is fast and stylish. These styles are so useful mainly because they are so simple yet classy, enabling one to be anywhere from dropping off the kids at school to running an errand or having breakfast with friends.

Headbands or Clips: If my hair decides it will be aggressive and not listen to me today, I put on a colorful headband or use colorful hair clips. It simply goes well with any dress code and helps keep my hair off from my face especially during the times when I am chasing after my son.

Tinted Sunscreen: This is revolutionalizinghtaking on a whole new level. It acts as a sunscreen, skin equalizer and soft highlighter all in one process and product. Well, let’s say I use it instead of foundation especially if I am in a hurry or I don’t have much time to spend on putting on makeup.

2-in-1 Lip and Cheek Tint: A multi-purpose product that can be applied on the Lips as well the cheeks is perfect if you’re pressed on time. At night I put on some lipstick and apply a little on both my lips and cheeks for a natural blusher that does not fade.

BB Cream with SPF: It is important to note here that BB creams may come with SPF and or skincare properties. It merely saves me time by combining many products into one which reduces the time of preparing the product.

5. Nighttime Routine: easy (5 minutes)

I don’t care about that by the time my son is in bed, I am too exhausted for a complicated timetable at night. That’s why I’ve streamlined my evening beauty routine to focus on essentials:That’s why I’ve streamlined my evening beauty routine to focus on essentials:

Cleanse: I always remember to wash my face and take off make up no matter how exhausted I may be. It would be ideal to have a product that can clean, as well as, moisturize the skin.

Serum: In the evening, I want to nourish or treat my skin so I use a serum or treatment, such as a vitamin C or retinol. These have to be used when going to bed; therefore, one wakes up with healthy skin.

Night Cream or Oil: Last of all, I moisturize my face at night using a night cream or a face oil. If I’m very, very pressed for time, I’ll apply the same moisturizer as I do during the day.
